Kerala

Kerala being a coastal area had promoted trade contacts with maritime nations such as Israel, Rome, Arabia and China even prior to the dawn of the Christian era. Some historians suggests that Jews came to Kerala and settled as early as 700 BC for trade.

Kerala's native architecture was always willing and active to incoporate foreign elements and styles. And you will find cross-cultural trends and mixing of ideas in every walk of architecture.
