The idea, as far as I understand it, is to unite the different religious symblos so that people will stop using them as an excuse to kill each other and find themselves some other excuse.

Yes, I think there are plenty of excuses to be found, not just religious. Consider Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, etc.
Enjoyed your blog a lot, and intend to revisit.
I am a Christian (Reformed Baptist). I consider myself a big sympathiser with Jewish people.
