Hexagram on Sukyo Mahikari Main World Shrine in Takayama, Gifu, Japan (Their recently constructed King Solomon's Temple). Sukyo Mahikari is a Japanese New Religion based on the writings of Mr Yoshikazu Okada (1901-1974) who founded the Mahikari organization in 1959 . Mahikari is the Japanese word for True Light. According to the following Encyclopedia of Shinto entry, the nominal membership of the Sukyo Mahikari group is approx. 490,000 these days...and falling:
