



Stars of David as a framework for animals on a Roman Mosaic Floor from the 3-4 th century C.E. discovered in Lod, Israel, by Miriam Avissar in 1996.Size: 19x9 square meters.
Although the star seems round note the hexagon surrounded by six triangles, which is a form that is acually seen in every “empty" Star of David which is composed of two equilatteral triangles, but here a Guilloche separates between the hexagons and the triangles.
