Not Guilty as Charged

An example of a kind of nasty attacks against the Star of David is an article titled "The Six-Pointed Star, The Mark Of The Beast, Part II, History Of The Six-Pointed Star", where the author quotes selectively from "Signs and Symbols of Primordial Man, being an explanation of the Evolution of Religious Doctrines from the Eschatology of the Ancient Egyptians" (1910) By Albert Churchward (1852-1925). 

Quote: "Six Triangles...is the Egyptian hieroglyphic for the ...Land of the Spirits." (Churchward, p. 177)

In the original text the Six Triangles do not comprise a Star of David, as you may have assumed by the title of the article – they are illustrated as 3 pairs of hourglasses.

Quote:  "Ancient Egyptian Seal of Solomon" (Churchward, p. 188)

The original text is: 

"and has by some been named Seal of Solomon (see origin of triangles. 

The illustration on the left of this sentence is marked as Figure 85. It  shows not a Star of David, or a Seal of Solomon (which is another name for the six pointed star) but a rhomb surrounded by four triangles).

Quote: "This (6-pointed star) was the first sign or hieroglyphic of Amsu" (p. 65)

The words (6-pointed star) are an addition of the author. The original phrase is:

"This, as far as we can trace, was the first sign or hieroglyphic of Amsu"

More than that: on page 314 Churchward wrote that the shape of the first two triangles mentioned above as 3 pairs of hourglasses "is  much more ancient than the latter" (marked as Fig. 85)

and we can not find any reason for Brother Gould calling it "Solomon's Seal". Solomon was not born when this was first used as a sacred sign, and as far as our researches go we have not been able to trace any facts or reasons to support the assertion that Solomon ever used it as a seal".

This is one of the most popular signs at Anti-Israeli demonstrations around the world.

Anti-Semitic Yugoslavian stamp 1941

Yugoslavian Postal Services under Nazi occupation issued in 22.10.1941 a series of anti-Jewish stamps and posters to mark the opening of the "Grand Anti-Masonic Exhibition" in Belgrade [22.10.1941- 19.01.1942]. In this stamp we see the hand of a Nazi strangling “the Jewish snake”, which caries numerous stars of David.

Intolerance

In Lesnovo Monastery (the Church of St. Archangel Gabriel), Macedonia, there are three circles. Rugs cover two of them, and in the picture we see the third, which is uncovered. The local monk told Rossitza Olson while she visited there that the Star of David is uncovered so that Christian visitors would have the opportunity to step on it and by that to reject Judaism.

This issue of stepping on the emblem of Judaism is quite popular and “jumps” each time one sees the six-pointed star on the floor, like in the Temple Mount at the 7th century C.E. Dome of the Chain, or in the case of Vans shoes. Anyhow Anti-Semitism is no news…

Protocols of the Elders of Zion , German Edition

Star of David appears on the cover of the German Edition of the most notorious anti-Semite book, Protocols of the Elders of Zion, Munchen 1933 (The first year of the Third Reich). The book is offered for sell at an Israeli bookstore called Simple Books/josef-inheritance, and the caption on their website reads:

Anti-Semitism: Turned Into a Swastika

From the Stephen Roth Institute for the Study of Contemporary Anti-Semitism and racism at Tel Aviv University, Mexico 2006 Report, we learn about a cartoon in Ovaciones from 13 Aug depicting a missile with a Star of David about to hit a fleeing Lebanese woman and child. La Jornada from 26 July published a cartoon of a Star of David turning into a swastika.

Tehran’s Holocaust Conference

Tehran’s Holocaust Conference was held on December 2006 and the Star of David appeared on many of the Anti-Israeli cartoons that were exhibited in it. The drawings showed for instance: A vampire wearing a Star of David drinking the blood of Palestinians;
