Christopher D. Horn found a video on YouTube: Water Sound Images, which includes what looks like a star of David created from a water droplet on a pan that is vibrated at varying frequencies.
I imagine that this video shows what happens when H is trying to (2) warn O that they are vibrated on a pan:)

Picture of a hexagram on a coin used by Mount Sinai Royal Arch Chapter no. 212 in Toronto was sent to me by a friend who wrote to me that:
The symbol on the bottom right is the "Ark of the Covenant". The bottom left is a "Keystone" which is a central stone at the summit of an arch, locking the whole together. Top left symbol stands for "Templum Hierosolyma". The top right "Scripture". In the middle on the right side are the Tiler's "sword" and Master Mason's "trowel". In the middle on the left side are the working tools of a Royal Arch Mason; the "crow", "pickax", and "spade". In the middle is Moshe Rabbeinu with the Ten Commandments.

The museum shows metal works from the beginning of the previous century starting with works of Boaz’s grandfather, Samuel Krechmer, who was the main manufacturer of coins medals and emblems in Israel. The words I Swear Not to Leave Israel are taken from the biblical verses of the Spies Affair in the Book of Numbers. Although the medal is antique the message is actual.

Three Stars of David mark the absence of the Three Israeli Captives in Amili Gelbman’s work titled The Three Sons. Since the work was exhibited in March 2007 Kidnapped soldiers Eldad Regev and Ehud (Udi) Goldwasser bodies were returned to Israel, but we are still praying for the return of Ron Arad and Gilad Shalit.

Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on its website in 1998 the Logo of the Year of Zionism which
consists of six colored triangular sections composing the Star of David. Each triangle of the logo, which was selected by the Israeli public, symbolizes a different aspect of the Zionist experience:
* A blue and white triangle symbolizing the Israeli flag;
* A red arrow pointing to the East - the "mizrah" and referring to the future;
* An orange triangle representing the desert and efforts to make the desert bloom;
* A triangle with purple dots representing the grapes brought back by the spies who scouted the Land of Israel and found a "land of milk and honey";
* The Hebrew letter "aleph" representing the rebirth of the Hebrew language; and
* The green sabra plant which has come to symbolize the modern Israeli.

Dobush from Kar Aza, Israel referred me to this photo of a Star of David on the cover of Max Brod’s book, Reubeni Furst Der Juden (Prince of the Jews), Munchen, 1925. The book is offered for sell at an Israeli bookstore called Simple Books/josef-inheritance. (Copyright: Simple Books 2008).
The reason the Star of David appears on this book cover is, most probably, that legends tell about David HaReubeni, 16th century Jewish leader who had a flag with the Star of David on it. Some say that the Magen David’s name came from David HaReubeni and not from Biblical King David.

- was an émigré to Israel who established himself as a graphic designer and contributed to the symbolic self-representation of the Jewish state. Wallish was born in Vienna and emigrated to Palestine in 1934, a time of increasing peril for the Jews of Austria... During the 1930's and 1940's, Wallish worked on artistic arrangement, statistical graphs and other design aspects for books. In 1929, his own book was published, ABC: Ein Bilderbuch.

Photo plates from the "Wooden Synagogues" book, portions of which were used to draw images depicted in the young man's torso between his shirt collar and arms folded across his chest. In the Wooden Synagogue book photo above, there are five flying birds in the synagogue wall-painting towards the upper left of the photo. In the artwork, the birds were painted above the violin - seen directly below the man's left arm - seen on viewer's right. The yellow patch was not uniform in all the places under the Third Reich regime and at least at the start there were a few blue Stars of David on a white arm band. It was somewhat like precursor of the Israeli flag.

The child victims portrayed in this mixed media piece were drawn from Warsaw Ghetto photos - the child at viewers left from a photo by Nazi soldier Heinz Jost [see also UWG Drawings No. 7, 9, and 33]. Josts caption for the photo stated:
On the sidewalk in a side street I saw this tiny child who could no longer pull himself upright. The passers-by didn't stop. There were too many children like this one. Lody means ice cream in Polish. Store signs seen in Warsaw Ghetto photos pre-date the Nazi occupation and the sealing in of the ghetto. I was struck, living in Seattle ~ with my home city's close proximity to Alaska and Native American culture, by the incongruity of a store sign in the Warsaw Ghetto for Eskimo brand ice-cream.

Drawn from a photo in the book The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising - 45th Anniversary (Interpress, Warsaw, 1988) this drawing became the first drawing of the Under the Wings of G-D series. The photo is in the chapter Life in the Ghetto.
I was struck by the three figures: the conductor and two men on either side of the of the front of the trolley, all of whom, I contemplated, probably went up in smoke in the gas chambers or died in the ghetto, itself a concentration camp where over one-hundred thousand people died in 1941. The trolley itself would have been removed by the Nazi's for its valuable metal.
The two wings were drawn on subsequent visits to the Burke Museum of Natural History at the University of Washington in Seattle.

In the town of Safed, the departure in April of the British left the Haganah trying to establish control. The Haganah enlisted a postal clerk to print up postal envelopes, which were never used, as well as 2,200 stamps (10 mils each). On the stamps was written, in Hebrew: Safed mail Eretz Israel. Once stamped, mail was routed by the Haganah through Rosh Pina. These Safed emergency stamps were the only ones issued by the Haganah.

I met this Breslau Dancer with his large Star of David pendant in Jerusalem near the Municipality Building at Safra Square on June 3rd 2008, and he let me take this photo of him and his Star of David pendant. I don't think all Breslau followers treat the Star of David as this dancer does - it seems like a private initiative...

A different approach to the number we see in Anat Massad's work A-22761 from the exhibition Please Come with White Shirts of 2003 which features her mother's camp number. The work is composed from digital photographs of fire banners, which she set on fire in an open field at a fire ceremony she held. The fire banners included a Star of David as the symbol of the Jewish people and the number A-22761, which simultaneously symbolizes Auschwitz and her mother's private fate both in the camp and her hardships in integrating into Israeli society. She also included short phrase to express the personal and general connection between the Holocaust and the establishment and rebuilding of the state of Israel and her parents contribution to the building of the State.
