This blog (by Zeev Barkan) is dedicated to the Star of David, its history, its various meanings and usages in different cultures. It includes thousands of pictures of Star of David, six-pointed stars, hexagrams, Solomon's Seals, Magen Davids and yellow badges, and served as a resource for three books and four art exhibitions.

Askenazi Synagogue, Istanbul
Red Jewish Star appears on a stained glass window of the Askenazi Synagogue in Istanbul, which was constructed by Jews of Austrian origin. Picture is courtesy of Michael Summers ("canonsnapper") who published it on Flickr. To me it looks like a Photoshop design of the full moon after the visit of an Israeli astronaut.
