Protest Oppression of Soviet Jewry
Picture of Star of David on a poster calling to protest against the opression of Soviet Jewry is courtesy of pictorial history collector
Stephanie Comfort
who published it on Flickr
The poster was issued probably in the USA in the aftermath of the first Kishinev pogrom on April 6-7, 1903.
The Soviet Union didn't exist in 1903!! The movement to free Soviet Jews was in the 1960s to end of 1980s, which is when this image would have originated from.
I have a stamp with this picture on it. i would like to know how historical this stamp is and what is it worth?
