The Star of David D’or

Star of David appears on the new Songs of the Many Jewish prayers disc by David D’or. David D’or is a star, and his first name is David, so that the Israeli national symbol gets in this case a new meaning :the Star of David D’or.

Neckwear Magen David

Star of David patchwork made from neckwear that I photographed in a house of a friend. I reckon there's no other work that looks exactly like it and from this aspect it is unique.

Sabbatical Year

The Logo of the fund for Shmitah (Year of Remission or Sabbatical Year) of money is in the shape of a Magen David made from palms. The six palms represent the six working years and the white hole in the center- the Sabbatical Year. When you stop holding something -  the palm of your hand is stretched – and this is the exact meaning of the Hebrew word Shmitah.
