This blog (by Zeev Barkan) is dedicated to the Star of David, its history, its various meanings and usages in different cultures. It includes thousands of pictures of Star of David, six-pointed stars, hexagrams, Solomon's Seals, Magen Davids and yellow badges, and served as a resource for three books and four art exhibitions.

Zion Bottles
Zion Ash Tray
Star of David ashtray from Avraham Goren's private collection, Beit Zayit 38, 972779346197
972544826779.
I guess today, after the Holocaust, it will be hard to manufacture or sell such ashtrays, since they evoke associations of WWII horrors, but when this beauty was created it was long before these events, and even long before cigarettes became notorious.
Zion Flag
Copyright: Jennie Gottschalk 2008
Photo is courtesy of Jennie Gottschalk who made this flag and dedicated it to me:
The Star of David and stripes in this image are basically modified Sierpinski Triangles that have been duplicated "tiled" to create the design. Dedicated to Ze'ev.
I don’t understand what’s the difference between the Israeli flag and Zion Flag but I’m sure that Jennie knows the answer.
